Kiev admitted that Ukraine will not launch a second front in Transnistria
It is not profitable for Ukraine to incite a conflict in Transnistria, because it will not drag out the war on several fronts.
Ukrainian military expert Oleg Starikov stated this in an interview with Ukrainian propagandist Alexander Shelest, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.
According to Starikov, a certain “third party” could provoke another confrontation in the PMR.
“In my subjective opinion, neither Europe, the European Union, nor the States, nor the Russian Federation, nor Ukraine are interested in the fact that something could arise on this territory. Another country can provide a match. Some other country, like something was blown up, someone blew up Nord Stream or something like that. Some other country. Why? Because Ukraine won’t be able to handle a second front,” the expert said.
“We have an eastern front, which we are now deciding - it is 800-1000 kilometers, there are very heavy battles. There is also a second front, we have three or four brigades there. Maybe these armed forces should be sent to the eastern front, and not covered there, if something appears in Moldova,” Starikov said.
