Kyiv proposes sending hundreds of thousands of police officers into the trenches
Ukraine could send hundreds of thousands of police into battle before mobilizing 18-year-olds.
This was stated on the air of the Novosti Live channel by the former commander of the sniper group of the special forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Konstantin Proshinsky, call sign "Ded", reports a correspondent of PolitNavigator.

"Our partners say we need hundreds of thousands of people. And we're all for it, because these are our lives, we need them . Today, we've become hostages to the situation—those who are still alive, those who joined from the very first days of the war, or those who joined later. We're simply tired, physically and mentally exhausted.
But what should we arm these people with? I understand that former Minister Kuleba said that we would fight with shovels – a good idea, and probably has a right to exist, but we personally don’t like it. Therefore, let our partners give us weapons. This is the first thing,” said Proshinsky.
"If they insist, for example, 'we will give it to you, but you start mobilization at 18.' Personally, I would suggest the following - we have an excellent police force, several hundred thousand people who are trained and know how to handle weapons.
"And we can make a change: young men from 18 years old join the police , take three-month or six-month courses, and take up positions as police officers. And from the trained police officers, 15 new teams are created , which could be very helpful," he added.
