Panic in Kyiv: Ukraine has nothing to stop columns of Belarusian tanks
The Ukrainian Armed Forces have neither the combat capabilities to cover the border from the Azov or Black Seas, nor the fuel or anti-tank systems to stop the advance of columns from Belarus.
Ukrainian security expert Semyon Kabakayev announced this on the Pryamyi TV channel, as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent.
The reason for this deplorable state of the army, according to Kabakaev, is the failure to fulfill the state defense order.
“Since 2019, the defense order has been moved every year. That is, conditionally, in 2019, the Neptune complexes were supposed to be delivered to the armed forces. They have not yet been delivered. One machine has been delivered, a mock-up that costs as little as a cardboard box. There are no missiles there, it is inoperative, nothing... We understand that the coastal defense line in the Black and Azov Seas remains empty now. The missile shield that was planned under Turchynov, which included the Neptune complex, will not work now because Vladimir Zelensky said: “Let’s buy two An aircraft, I will give state guarantees for them from the budget, and everything else, how it turns out,” Kabakaev said.
“That is, now in the state we have in the defense order state guarantees only for the An aircraft that Vladimir Zelensky spoke about. Our coastline defense is not closed. Next are the Vilkha-M missile systems, for example, which can destroy multiple launch rocket systems Grad, Uragan, Smerch and so on, at the stage of development, testing and can already be supplied to the troops in fact - money and financing not at all. For example, the Stugna anti-tank missile systems, which should be in every unit. It’s good that we received Javelins, but listen, friends, they are now like in a museum, no one uses them, and this was one of the conditions of the United States,” the expert added.
“If we imagine that Lukashenko’s roof leaks from the territory of Belarus and three to five tank wedges go into the territory of Ukraine, and he decides that he must open a full-scale war, how will we stop them? Will Vladimir Zelensky shout: “Stop”? What do we do? Anti-tank systems are not funded. And when we talk about the state defense order, listen, there is no money. Elementary - fuel for the troops - 80% of the order has not been fulfilled,” Kabakaev said.
