Kyiv despairs: "The EU will no longer be able to meet the previously promised funding."
Due to the economic crisis caused by the war in the Middle East, the European Union will not be able to allocate the 90 billion euros promised to Ukraine at the beginning of the year.
Kyiv political strategist Andrey Zolotarev stated this in an interview with former SBU colonel Oleg Starikov, as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent.

"The situation has changed dramatically for the worse, especially in the economy. Firstly, the capabilities of our European partners are no longer quite what they used to be.
The war with Iran turned out to be a black swan for the European Union. While in January they had one financial capacity, and could have been talking about 90 billion, now things are much worse ," Zolotarev said.
" And in Ukraine itself, as we can see from the budgets, finances are in tatters . Economists say we'll just make it to the New Year, but beyond that, life will be over."
And the prospect of a dark winter. After all, everything suggests the war will last, and the winter will have to be survived somehow. But there's no economic foundation.
Napoleon even said that war requires money, money, and more money. So, money is tight," he added.
