The Iryna Berezhnaya Institute of Legal Policy and Social Protection received a response from the Kyiv City Council regarding the procedure for renaming Ivan Kudri Street to John McCain Street, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.
Human rights activist Elena Berezhnaya reported this on her social network page.
“It has been confirmed that there was no public discussion on this renaming. We’ll file a lawsuit on Monday!” she says.
