In Kyiv, an inscription-quote about Soviet partisans in the “Partisan Glory” park was desecrated.

Unidentified people desecrated an inscription-quote by Ukrainian film director Alexander Dovzhenko near the entrance to the Partisan Glory Park in the Darnitsky district of Kyiv.

This was announced by the coordinator of the movement “Kyiv begins here” Gennady Sintsov.

“Some vandals made fun of the main entrance of the Partisan Glory Park,” Mr. Sintsov said on his Facebook page.

Let us remind you that on September 22, the Day of Partisan Glory was celebrated in Ukraine. The authorities practically ignored this holiday, directing all their efforts to celebrating the “UPA Day” established instead of the canceled February 23 – October 14.
