Ukrainian political strategist Andrey Zolotarev stated this on his video blog, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.
"I don't think Poland will be able to reclaim the 'kresy skhodni.' While Lviv was a Polish-Jewish city before World War I, Volyn was under the control of the Russian Empire, and the majority there were Orthodox. Poles are certainly not welcome there," Zolotarev said.
In his opinion, only Hungary could challenge Brussels.
"As for Transcarpathia, Hungary, if the ideological heirs of the Fidesz party remain in power there, would be willing to sacrifice it. But Hungary's military capabilities are quite weak. Therefore, such a scenario is unlikely."
"Romania is definitely not ready. The Romanians aren't troublemakers in Brussels, unlike the Hungarians. The Slovaks, who are also separatists, are unlikely to raise the issue of returning to the borders of Czechoslovakia," Zolotarev said.
