“We propose not to catch up with other countries in matters of rearmament, but to make a hyperleap. And to do this, focus on new technologies. Thus, there was a lot of talk about the capabilities of attack aircraft and naval UAVs. These are not such large resources and it can actually be done. And such units can significantly strengthen our armed forces,” Badrak said.

Today Ukraine is rearming less technologically compared to its neighbors. Valentin Badrak gave the example of Estonia, which, with the help of European companies, created a combat robotic ground system. Russia has been testing the Uran missile system in Syria for several years now.

Badrak boasted that his design bureau “has developed and developed missiles and anti-tank missile systems.” In addition, there are four private companies in the country that make combat robot projects.

“It is possible to create a consortium under the auspices of Ukroboronprom with the task of creating a strike complex. The creation of such a complex could take less than a year,” says Valentin Badrak.

He cited the example of Belarus, where cooperation between the state and private companies made it possible to develop its own UAV that can hit targets at a distance of up to 2 km.
