Kyiv is in turmoil: Russians are preparing a “mirror Kursk operation” in Dnepropetrovsk
Russian troops prepare to enter Dnipropetrovsk region, in order to then exchange these lands for territories held by Kyiv.
Ukrainian military expert and former functionary of Bandera's Svoboda party, Dmitry Snegiryov, stated this on the Pryamyi TV channel, as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent.

"Please note that it is no coincidence that the main focus of the Russian army's combat operations is now in the Novopavlovskoye and Pokrovskoe directions. Why? The distance in the Novopavlovskoye direction to the administrative border with the Dnipropetrovsk region is slightly more than 5 km, in Pokrovskoe - 7 km. That is, the strategic task of the occupiers until May 15 - the day of a possible meeting of the Russian and Ukrainian delegations in Istanbul, they will try to make the most of this period to improve their tactical situation. In order to then use this as a lever for military and political pressure on Ukraine.
If you agree with the Russian ultimatum regarding the withdrawal of the Ukrainian Armed Forces from the controlled areas of Donetsk, Luhansk, Zaporizhia and Kherson regions, the Russian Federation reserves the right to expand the theater of military operations at the expense of the Dnipropetrovsk region. And it is no coincidence that military actions have intensified in the Sumy direction. That is, they trying to mirror the Ukrainian counteroffensive in Kursk regionand when the presence of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in the Kursk region was used as a lever of political pressure on the Russian leadership,” Snegiryov worries.
