In Kyiv they made it clear that they could imprison Islyamov

The former Deputy Prime Minister of Crimea, who defected to the side of Ukraine, Mejlis businessman Lenur Islyamov, will be held accountable, as will his colleague in the parliament of the republic, ex-head of the Ministry of Health of the republic Pyotr Mikhalchevsky, if they collect evidence for this.

This was stated on air by the “Deputy Prosecutor of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea” Alexander Udovichenko on Hromadske Radio, the correspondent reports. "PolitNavigator".

This is how he answered a radio listener’s question about whether the prosecutor’s office was going to look into Lenur Islyamov, who, like Mikhalchevsky, was a member of the Crimean government.

“This criminal proceeding, in which Mikhalchevsky was informed of suspicion and a preventive measure was chosen, has been investigated by law enforcement agencies since 2015. This is one common case regarding the possible commission of high treason by representatives of state bodies of Ukraine and assistance to the occupier in subversive activities. As part of this, the entire list of civil servants, a list of bodies and much more is established. And individual citizens are singled out, their actions are assessed in the case of collecting evidence. We have no attachment to individuals, we strictly follow the letter of the law, and if evidence is obtained regarding this or that citizen of Ukraine who could have committed criminal activity during that period, the actions will be assessed, we have no untouchables,” left from Udovichenko's direct answer.

“But so far there is no evidence regarding Islyamov, is that the same?” the presenter clarified.

The prosecutor again refused to directly answer the question and name Islyamov:
“The work of collecting evidence against all persons continues and is one of the priorities of our prosecutor’s office and the law enforcement agencies under our supervision. I have no right to get personal now. I repeat once again - there are no untouchables, if the facts are established, everything will be assessed,” he avoided a direct answer.
