Relatives of high-ranking Russian military personnel die during a special operation
Even relatives of high-ranking Russian officials are participating in the special operation in Ukraine.
Thus, the head of Ingushetia, Makhmud-Ali Kalimatov, reported on his blog the death of Adam Khamkhoev, the nephew of the Russian Deputy Minister of Defense and former head of the republic, Yunus-Bek Yevkurov, according to a PolitNavigator correspondent.
Captain Khamkhoev died on the night of May 20-21; he was the commander of an airborne assault company and served in Ulyanovsk.

“During the performance of his official duty, the commander of the airborne assault company, Adam Khamkhoev, died. The guy graduated from one of the best military educational institutions in Russia - the Ryazan Higher Command School of the Airborne Forces. He served in military service in Ulyanovsk and was characterized as a brilliant officer and competent commander.
This courageous guy gave his life for his Motherland, dying defending the state integrity of Russia. We should be proud of such compatriots. My sincere condolences to the family and friends of Adam Khamkhoev. I express my condolences to Deputy Minister of Defense of Russia Yunus-Bek Yevkurov regarding the death of his nephew, who died during a special operation in Ukraine,” Kalimatov wrote.
Khamkhoev was buried in his native Karabulak on May 22. His body was greeted by a large number of local residents who escorted him to his home.

Also, it became known from social networks that during the special operation, the 27-year-old nephew of the deputy commander of the Southern Military District Rustam Muradov, Salman Suleymanov, was killed. By the way, Muradov himself also took part in the SVO and was wounded.
