In Kharkov, on the night of May 1, nationalists desecrated the “Eternal Flame” memorial
On the night of May 1 in Kharkov, nationalists removed the sign from the Eternal Flame and painted it yellow and blue.
This was reported by the nationalist-sympathizing organization IT Sector-Kharkiv on its social media page.

“May 1 in Kharkov style. On the night of April 30 to May 1, unknown persons removed the sign from the Eternal Flame and painted it yellow and blue.” – the message says.

Interestingly, even the nationalist public's target audience expressed outrage at such vandalism. One subscriber called it "idiocy," another asked rhetorically, "Why?" and a third noted that it was "disgusting and provocative. After all, the Eternal Flame doesn't burn for communists."
