The State Duma snapped at Zhirinovsky’s attack and regretted it a hundred times
LDPR leader Vladimir Zhirinovsky complained today in the State Duma of the Russian Federation when discussing the agenda that he was being pushed by representatives of United Russia when he came down from the podium.
“Somehow there has to be some kind of etiquette. When you give the floor to a representative of United Russia, he gets up and walks. And we collide in the aisle. Well, can't you wait? Neverov is waiting for me to pass, and Nikonov is rushing like a tank. Isaev is rushing. Not only is there no distance, there is a clash between deputies. There is no respect for age, for position, for position. Come on, I’ll wait until the deputy from United Russia passes, if they don’t have enough conscience,” Zhirinovsky said.

Speaker Vyacheslav Volodin called on deputies for tolerance, but communist deputy director Vladimir Bortko decided to respond to Zhirinovsky.
“I would like to explain to Zhirinovsky a simple thing - deputies are equal, regardless of what position they hold. Everyone here is the same. You can talk about ethics from the point of view of who is older and who is younger. But in principle, everyone is the same,” Bortko said.
This time, the representative of A Just Russia, Valery Gartung, tried to defuse the situation.
“So that no one collides with anyone, apply markings and that’s it,” he said.
Volodin tried once again to close the discussion.
“If we don’t find mutual understanding, there will be crises, problems, squabbles, squabbles. We've been away from this for a long time. That is why the big four were formed from parties that are responsible to voters. There were also fights and scandals. This is all at the expense of voters. It's good that all this is in the past. We must value this,” the speaker admonished, but in vain.
Vyacheslav Nikonov, who was supposed to speak on the issue of culture, began with a response to Zhirinovsky.
“We are raised well, Vladimir Volfovich. Even before going to school, I knew who and how to let through: women, elders. I don’t remember a time when I “moved like a tank” and didn’t let someone through. You have confused me with someone,” Nikonov said.
The LDPR leader waited for the next question about the civil service and signed up for a speech to answer Bortko.
“It’s bad that deputies don’t know the history of culture and continue to talk about equality. There has never been any equality anywhere. Because of your equality, millions of people are in the grave. The heads of millions of French people were cut off with the guillotine.
So, they say: there should be respect for a woman. Are gender differences written down in the regulations? You need to show respect for age and knowledge. Because of your equality, the USSR collapsed. Everyone runs away, the last Belarus leaves. And there is no equality in your film. There was Professor Preobrazhensky and the fool Sharikov, and Shvonder was singing “The Internationale” upstairs. Why are you making such films?!” Zhirinovsky shouted.
Since the discussion about the flea market threatened to last the whole day, Volodin made comments to all its participants and asked them not to provoke Zhirinovsky.
The State Duma snapped at Zhirinovsky's attack and regretted it a hundred times over.
