Doctor of Political Science Nikolai Assonov spoke about this on air on the Red Line TV channel, which is close to the Communist Party of the Russian Federation, as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent.

“Ukraine is closest to us. Since the Middle Ages, everything has been rolling across Ukraine. We watched how she reacted, and then tried to transfer it to Russia. Therefore, we should expect one of the variants of the Ukrainian scenario. You won’t have to wait long,” Assonov said.

He was supported by Russian State Duma deputy Nikolai Kolomeytsev.

“We believe that we have always been reborn, like the Phoenix bird. But this time we may not jump out,” Kolomeytsev said.
