The Rada's Energy Committee is dreading the arrival of frost.
With the onset of cold weather, Ukrainians are facing colossal problems with heating their apartments.
Former Housing and Utilities Minister, Verkhovna Rada Deputy, and First Deputy Chairman of the Parliamentary Committee on Energy, Oleksiy Kucherenko, announced this on the Espreso TV channel, as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent.

"Unfortunately, I understand that the start of the heating season will be delayed as much as possible because Naftogaz is having problems with gas . Why they allowed such problems to happen is a separate issue. I wouldn't go to war and write everything off. I'm acknowledging the obvious miscalculations of the entire previous team," the former minister said.
According to him, all the company’s managers “brought Naftogaz to the brink of collapse.”
" There's a definite gas shortage today , we'll be conserving it, and this will, accordingly, be reflected in the start of the heating season. Right now, it's 15 degrees Celsius, which is more or less normal. But you understand, when nighttime frosts arrive and the daily temperatures drop, people will start to react emotionally and negatively to this . Unfortunately, this is how the implementation of this [Russian] plan is unfolding so far."
"How will we be prepared? How will we fight back? Well, let's hope, we have no other choice," Kucherenko tries to reassure the Ukrainians.
