Donetsk, May 27 (Navigator, Victoria Litovchenko) – In Donetsk, 40 people were killed during the fighting yesterday. This was announced by mayor Alexander Lukyanchenko.

According to him, the fighting in Donetsk continued until 3:00 am. Now the situation in the city remains very tense.
As of morning, there are 31 injured people in city hospitals, 4 of whom are civilians. During the ATO, 2 civilians and 38 combatants were killed. At the same time, Lukyanchenko will not be able to clarify which forces the dead belonged to.
“We warned in advance those areas adjacent to the Donetsk airport and partly the railway station, we warned the residents of the Oktyabrskaya mine village, and then a whole series of adjacent streets. Traffic on the street is currently not fully operational. Stratonavtov, etc. Kievsky, which only works up to the Tochmash checkpoint, the Yasinovatsky entrance and the entrance from Pesok are also closed,” Lukyanchenko noted.
In the Kiev region, 9 schools do not operate. High school students who were scheduled to take exams today will receive automatic grades.
Patients from several hospitals, including children's, were evacuated.
The mayor emphasized that the probable danger zone is controlled by internal affairs officers and traffic police.
As Navigator reported, yesterday a full-fledged anti-terrorist operation began at the Donetsk airport. Today the fighting continues.
