A fashion show was held in Donetsk: “Polite Ladies” presented “Novorossiya” (PHOTO)

Donetsk, December 22 (PolitNavigator, Mikael Chagalyan) – Despite the ongoing tense situation, they decided to hold the first fashion show in Donetsk in the last eight months.

The show, which took place at the Donetsk exhibition center "Art-Donbass", naturally, was fully consistent with the spirit of the times and was in tune with new realities.

The organizer of the event was the Communication Agency “Polite Ladies”, and the collections presented by designer Svetlana Topalova had names clearly dictated by what was happening: “Donetsk, live!”, “On the edge”, “Novorossiya”.

Considering the situation the republic is in, the event was in the nature of a charity event: part of the proceeds from sales goes to help the Donetsk Children's Oncohematology Center.

According to the organizers of the show, they did not have the task of holding a pretentious event: “We all understand what the situation is in Donetsk today, it’s hard for everyone, but life is starting to get better little by little, and we all see it. Our goal is to show that people in Donetsk still strive for creativity in all its forms, and our hometown will develop even in such conditions.”
