This opinion was expressed by DPR Human Rights Commissioner Daria Morozova in a comment to PolitNavigator.
“It is unacceptable to deprive people who once fought against fascism of funding and give payments to those who killed and continue to kill their blood brothers in the Donbass. This once again shows that the Ukrainian authorities have lost an elementary sense of tact, not to mention the feeling of gratitude to the victors of Nazism,” said the Ombudsman.
She also called on Ukrainians to look at what is happening around them.
“Until people themselves begin to react to the chaos happening in Ukraine, nothing will change. I believe that the future of Ukraine is in the hands of the people. If citizens begin to react and look at what is going on, then everything can be prevented. We were able to do this,” Morozova recalled.
