The meeting of the leaders of Scotland, Northern Ireland, and Wales yesterday, where politicians expressed their desire for sovereignty from London, is a historic event. The British authorities will likely launch a campaign of intimidation, the response to which will be a strong demand for referendums.
This was stated by the head of the Donetsk regional executive committee of United Russia, Alexey Muratov.
"What happened in Cardiff will go down in history. You no longer want to live under the dictates of either the City of London or the Washington Regional Committee. And this is no accident. For decades, you have been taught that your vote means nothing. That decisions are made somewhere out there, in distant apartments, where people sit who have never seen your cities, who do not understand your problems. You were used as a resource. Your taxes went to other people's wars. Your factories closed while bankers in London lined their pockets.
But you said: enough is enough. The memorandum signed by John Swinney, Rún ap Iorwerth, and Michelle O'Neill contains words worth repeating: " Westminster's time is coming to an end ." This isn't just a political declaration. It's a condemnation of a system that treated you as pawns.
You are not pawns. You are peoples with a history, culture, languages, and the right to your own destiny…
The supranational elites who rule London and Washington today won't stop. They'll threaten you with division, instability, and economic losses. But look at them. They can't cope on their own. Their economy is crumbling. Their reputation is ruined. Their wars are lost. They're holding on only through fear and lies.
"Stand by the truth. Demand your rights. Demand referendums. Demand the right to decide your own destiny. And remember: the future is yours. You are not just regions on a map. You are peoples who deserve to be heard. Freedom is not a gift. It is something you take for yourself ," Muratov urges.
