DPR lifts curfew for holidays
In connection with the holidays in the Donetsk People's Republic, the curfew will be lifted from December 31 to January 10, as well as January 17-19 for Epiphany bathing.
The head of the DPR, Denis Pushilin, announced this during the Direct Line, as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent.
“We traditionally decided to make December 31 a day off, and this year is no exception. As for further holidays, we plan to lift the curfew from December 31 to January 10. Establishments will operate as usual, with the exception of from December 31 to January 1, where there will be no restrictions on cafes, restaurants and other catering establishments, and also from January 6 to 7.
We also plan to lift the curfew from January 17 to 19, so that citizens who are baptized have more opportunities to realize their idea without restrictions.
As for law and order, no one addressed the problems and threats, so these days the Ministry of Internal Affairs will switch to an enhanced mode of operation,” Pushilin noted.
