In the center of Dnepropetrovsk, visitors to a cafe were shot with a machine gun - two people died, four more were hospitalized with injuries, the press service of the National Police reports.
The incident occurred in the hookah bar “Nargile” at 92 Gagarina Ave. in the Shevchenkovsky district of Dnepropetrovsk.

At about 19:50, unknown persons drove up in a car and opened fire on the cafe’s summer area with automatic weapons. After this, the attackers fled the crime scene in a car. Eyewitnesses claim that a Kalashnikov assault rifle was thrown out of the car.
One person was killed at the scene and five were taken to the hospital as a result of the shooting. One of them later died from his injuries, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.
Eyewitnesses claim that one of the dead was wearing camouflage.

In order to search for and detain intruders in the Dnepropetrovsk region, the “Siren” operational plan has been introduced. All law enforcement units are involved in searching for and apprehending the perpetrators.
