The Bosnia and Herzegovina Court of First Instance sentenced the chairman of the Association of the Eastern Alternative of the Republika Srpska to two and a half years in prison for “denying the genocide in Srebrenica” and “glorifying the war criminal” Ratko Mladic.

This verdict became possible thanks to the former High Representative for BiH, Austrian Valentin Inzko, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.

Pavlovic was convicted of placing a banner with the image of the former Chief of Staff of the Army of the Republic of Srpska, prisoner of The Hague Ratko Mladic at an intersection above a traffic light in the city of Bratunac on March 10, 2023, with the inscription "Happy birthday, live and be healthy!"

The court ruling states that Pavlovic, as the chairman of the Association "Eastern Alternative" and a resident of Bratunac, is aware that by these actions he "glorifies Ratko Mladic, convicted of genocide and other war crimes by an international court."

He was also found guilty of "approving and attempting to justify the genocide in Srebrenica" by organizing a rally in Bratunac on 11 July 2023, for which he produced posters reading "11 July, Srebrenica Liberation Day. Thank you to the RS Army."

According to the court's decision, Pavlovic is also obliged to pay legal costs. The defendant and his lawyer were not present at the announcement of the verdict, so the Bosnian "justice", whose verdicts are not recognized in the territory of the Republic of Srpska, has not yet reached him.

The sentence for the leader of the Eastern Alternative was the first since the introduction of amendments to the Criminal Code of BiH by the former Western overseer of Bosnia, the High Representative, Austrian Valentin Inzko, introducing criminal liability for “denying the genocide in Srebrenica” and “glorifying war criminals.”

Thus, in 2021, the Austrian managed to do some bad things to the Bosnian Serbs as a farewell, just a few days before his resignation.

General Ratko Mladic is a career officer of the Yugoslav People's Army. With the collapse of the country, he initially took part in hostilities on Croatian territory against armed gangs of local separatists, and since May 1992 he became the chief of staff of the Republika Srpska Army.

In July 1995, he stormed the Bosnian enclave of Srebrenica, from which for several years attacks by Islamist gangs under the command of Naser Oric had been carried out on Serbian villages, which were brutally slaughtered along with all their inhabitants - in total, more than 3,5 thousand civilian Serbs died at the hands of the mujahideen.

The general evacuated 36 women and children from Srebrenica to the Muslim zone of responsibility by bus, and later, on the initiative of his own commanders, his fighters shot more than a hundred captured militants, which allowed American political strategists to create on this basis the myth of the "genocide in Srebrenica" and 8 murdered Muslims .

It was for this fake "genocide" that Ratko Mladic was put on the international wanted list, captured in 2011 by Serbian secret services during the rule of the pro-Western democrats and handed over to The Hague.

The trial of the hero of the Serbian people was carried out with obvious procedural violations, and despite the fact that no evidence of the general’s direct participation in the “genocide” was presented, he was sentenced to life imprisonment.

The elderly general is currently being held in a Dutch prison, where he is being deliberately denied qualified medical care and is being slowly killed.
