US and Russian leaders may reach agreements that could have catastrophic consequences for Ukraine.

" The front will weaken in the next few days if, through the combined efforts of Donald Trump and Vladimir Putin, our country's leadership manages to force us to sign a very bad peace treaty, a somewhat veiled capitulation. I really want to believe that won't happen. And yet, I have reason to hope, and some of these reasons are provided by the Kremlin itself. Because the conditions they are putting forward are so unacceptable that I find it difficult to imagine any member of our country's leadership who would risk, for example, ordering our army to withdraw from unoccupied territories," said the former Aidar soldier.
According to him, this is exactly what the Russians want, and not a freeze along the front line.
"And this is what they want even more, it is, strangely enough, encouraging. Because, in fact, for us the much worse option is if they, out of respect for Trump, agree not to occupy further what they are already physically incapable of occupying...
The problem is, it's not clear that Trump understands this. And resisting the combined pressure from the Kremlin and the White House is truly an extremely difficult task. I don't envy our president at all right now. I wouldn't want to be in his shoes right now, so to speak. I can't even imagine how truly difficult it is when you're being pressured simultaneously by two nuclear superpowers ," Dyky said.
