“Soldiers of the information war have been sent to Belarus” – Rebecca Harms
The Russian Federation is allegedly already interfering in the internal affairs of Belarus.
This was stated by Rebecca Harms, a former member of the European Parliament and a member of the German Greens known for her anti-Russian stance and ardent support for Ukrainian Maidan protesters, in an interview with the Kyiv online publication Apostrophe, according to a PolitNavigator correspondent. Harms was responding to a question about how realistic it is that Russian President Vladimir Putin would interfere in Belarus's internal affairs.

Although I am not sure whether the Belarusian riot police are supported by Russian special forces, watching the situation, I often remember the “titushki” on the Kyiv streets in 2013-2014. What is definitely noticeable is the interference in the media and what I call the information war. I think Russian so-called “journalists” are already working on the ground. I also observe how these soldiers of the information war and “trolls” are active in relation to Belarusian events, not only in Belarus itself, but throughout the world,” says Kharms.
Earlier, as PolitNavigator reported, Ukrainian diplomats claimed that Russian special forces were suppressing the Belarusian protests.
