“They’ve already given up on everything a long time ago”: Ukrainian punitive forces didn’t care about the truce
The Ukrainian punitive group involved in the Donbass has not observed the truce for a long time.
Taras Chmut, head of the Ukrainian Military Portal, made this admission on the Skrypin internet channel, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.
“There is a certain revival on both sides. Accordingly, there are no longer those statements that the Armed Forces are giving an answer, they are not giving. “Everyone has already given up a long time ago and immediately, if possible, when there is someone, they respond, actively using all relevant types of weapons and equipment,” Chmut said.
As a reminder, retired Ukrainian Armed Forces officer and military observer Dmitry Likhoviy, back when the so-called ceasefire was in effect in Donbas, stated that, despite the ban , the Ukrainian army was using both large-caliber mortars and snipers on the front.
