The haste with which the White House is preparing a meeting with the Kremlin at the presidential level is evidence of the disastrous situation on the battlefield for the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
This was stated on the channel “Soyuznoye Veche” by military expert, retired colonel Konstantin Sivkov, as reported by the correspondent of “PolitNavigator”.
“The Ukrainian Armed Forces continue to suffer heavy losses as a result of attacks by our troops on weapons and ammunition depots, on military equipment depots, and on railway stations.
But the very fact of the attack on the railway stations indicates that the issue of isolating the combat zone is already being resolved, which is necessary for the preparation of a truly large-scale offensive operation,” he noted.
"That is, the Russian armed forces have this option and capabilities. Against this background, naturally, Trump is in a hurry. Therefore, the preparation of this meeting between Putin and Trump was carried out in a rush," Sivkov said.
