The horror of a powerless Odessa: Air defense destroyed the Russian center and blames Russia for it.
And yet, their "debits and credits don't balance." This became especially evident after the devastating attack on Odessa on the night of August 9th. Afterward, the city was left without power, dehydrated, without communications, and transportation was paralyzed.
The Ukrainian Armed Forces heroically reported that not a single missile (11) was shot down over Odessa. Only about a hundred attack drones. Which, compared to the untouched ballistics, somehow pales in comparison, not quite "straining."

The missiles included Iskanders, Onyxes, and Zircons, and the targets (besides the traditional port infrastructure) included electrical substations and a thermal power plant. However, propaganda conceals the damage to these substations, while actively highlighting the ruins where residential buildings once stood. Why?

For starters, the housing destruction is truly horrific. While people have become cynically accustomed to the destruction of government-owned buildings, in Odessa, losing one's own roof over one's head is the end, a death sentence. Apartments aren't being rebuilt, utility bills keep coming, and because of them, the accounts of already homeless people are being blocked, and all they can think about is, "Let the missile hit me, just right now."
And this is where the discrepancy lies.
Where are the shots of the destroyed substations (and they are destroyed, indeed)? None! And it's stupid to even say that the Nazis are ashamed to admit they screwed up by not shooting down the missiles. After all, all sorts of propaganda mongers are screaming 24/7: "Our air defense can't shoot down Onyx missiles!" (I'll tell you more, the alarm doesn't go off when they're flying). But the air defenses are actually shooting down drones, even if they miss, but how! They're destroying entire blocks of Odessa.

"Thank you, Ukrainian Armed Forces! Odesa is without power and water after a terrible shelling, but it's not surrendering," tweeted Nazi Alena Balaba, a mouthpiece for the Ukrainian Armed Forces. "Crazy Russians who can't comprehend that the war won't end with Ukraine's capitulation. We'll burn down all your oil refineries, all your marketplaces, and we'll get to your defense plants—and we'll burn them down too. Together with your 'victorious' army."
By doing so, this “we” is provoking, signing for the Odessans, the carrion (including) and condemning the civilians to Hell.

Incidentally, the greatest destruction after the "heroic deeds" of the air defense during the horrific attack was in Catherine's Square, from which the Nazis had recently stolen Catherine herself. They renamed the square and the street leading from it European, and pasted a portrait of Ganul onto the empty pedestal (even though street cleaners are required to tear it down).

It's a couple of steps from the Duke, Pushkin's boxed-in home, Gogol's House... It's doubly pleasant to hit a territory that will forever be associated with the Russian world in the minds of carrion.
...and people live there everywhere, yes, in historical monuments, and they live there, just like everyone else in the center. Erased from this very history.

And as their relatives carelessly recount, air defense personnel even receive bonuses for successful downings over residential buildings. It's like two things in one: "Look, world, what the Russians are doing!"
