"Quadruple!" Rutte, following Trump's example, demands that European NATO members increase military production.
The European defence industry must follow the US example by quadrupling its production volumes.
NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte announced this at a press conference ahead of the meeting of NATO foreign ministers in Sweden , reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.

“The question is how to not only increase spending, but also transform it into an increase in the volume of production in the defense industry.
You saw the American president, he made it clear at meetings with the largest representatives of industry in the United States that he wants to quadruple the volume of production in the defense industry ,” Rutte said.
"I fully support this policy. I'm in talks with American, European, and Canadian companies. We need to do more because there's a huge need to increase defense production."
“I expect that [at the NATO summit] in Ankara we will again see the same surge of activity that we saw in The Hague, where we discussed spending,” the Secretary General concluded.
State Duma Deputy Leonid Slutsky notes:
The "War Party" remains committed to continuing the conflict with Russia through Ukrainians and the militarization of Europe. And NATO Secretary General Rutte clearly expresses its position and interests."
