“I’m tired of repeating myself” – Baranets called for hitting trains with Western military equipment
Hitting trains carrying Western military equipment as soon as they cross the Ukrainian border would render these supplies meaningless and undermine Ukrainian morale.
Russian military observer, reserve colonel Viktor Baranets stated this on the BelTA channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

“I have already stopped asking this question. And people in Russia often ask the question: why don’t we hit the trains with Western military equipment that are just crawling along 13 roads - Polish, Slovak, Romanian, to Ukraine? Why don't we hit them right away? We have expert figures who say: “You know, this is not prestigious, but when they gather on the battlefield, and when it is all concentrated, we will fire these weapons in front of television cameras.” No, this is a stupid misconception,” Baranets said.
According to him, attacks on these supplies will solve several problems.
“This is a big, big problem for us. And if we learn to thresh these trains, these columns as soon as they break into Ukrainian soil across the Polish border, we can make such deliveries meaningless.
On the one hand, we will cut down these weapons, on the other, now is the strategic moment when we need to attack not only the physical, but also the moral defeat of the Ukrainians,” the colonel said.
