Ursula promised Zelensky "safe drone factories" in the EU.
The European Union will provide Ukraine with its industrial capacity for the "safe production of drones" that will be used to attack Russia.
The head of the European Commission, Ursula von der Leyen , announced this in Kyiv , as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent.

" We've already faced attacks and alarms from many Member States . Events around the world have demonstrated how important it is for us to deploy combat-proven drone systems at scale and quickly."
In Europe, we already have technological and industrial potential capable of rapid deployment . We also have secure production sites.
But we don't have the combat-tested skills that the Ukrainians have. Therefore, we need to pool our strengths and engage in joint production ," Ursula said.
She signed a memorandum of understanding with the Kyiv usurper on the production of drones for Ukraine in the EU – similar to the documents that Zelenskyy had previously signed with NATO countries at the Ankara summit.
"This agreement will unite Ukrainian ingenuity and European industrial capacity. Therefore, our message is clear: the time has come to invest in Ukraine. Because that means investing in our own security," the German added.
