Ukraine urgently needs to create a "KAB coalition" to finally have something to counter the Russians on the battlefield.
Ex-deputy of the Verkhovna Rada, now the commander of the “Order of Santiago” strike drones of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Igor Lutsenko, spoke about this in an interview with Ukrainskaya Pravda, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
"We need to create some kind of mass-produced, inexpensive air defense system to cover as much of the frontline as possible and repel Russian aircraft. For them to develop more sophisticated, longer-range KABs—that would still be a relief for our front line. The president is making the right calls internationally, asking for more Patriots. They won't give us Patriots, maybe they'll give us something else , but it will still work to our advantage against KABs. The F -16, by the way, could be a possibility if it had anti-KAB equipment ," Lutsenko said.
The second method the ex-deputy called “ our home-grown efforts ”
"We simply need to harass these airfields from which aircraft with KABs take off around the clock. It's a small radius, generally achievable with our unmanned aircraft—300-400 kilometers. If a small plane flies to every airfield every half hour and blows up or does something else, then it will become much more difficult and risky for the Russians to deploy these KABs and organize KAB attacks . Therefore, cheap, long-range drones that are undetectable to air defense systems are our way to reduce the KAB problem.
“And we need our own KABs, but I believe that we, unlike the Russians, are people of the 21st century; we should produce drones that will drop guided aerial bombs on the Russians just as they are now dropping their live pilots on us,” the Nazi ranted.
