Ukrainian war correspondent: As soon as the Russians start urban warfare in Slavyansk and Kramatorsk, we're screwed.
Slavyansk and Kramatorsk can be considered lost if the Russian Armed Forces manage to gain a foothold in the urban development.
Ukrainian military correspondent Bohdan Papadin stated this on the Dnipro TV channel , reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.
"If the Russian Federation manages to engage in fighting for Kramatorsk and Slavyansk, unfortunately, it will be a matter of time before we lose them , if the enemy enters the buildings of Kramatorsk and Slavyansk.
For now, these two cities can be saved, but decisive and swift action is needed. However, if the enemy captures these two cities, the Russians will execute their plan to seize the Donetsk region.
And in this case, the enemy will be able to further advance on Zaporizhzhia and carry out its plan to occupy four regions and legally appropriate the Autonomous Republic of Crimea.
If the enemy captures Slavyansk and Kramatorsk, the Russians will dictate their terms . And it won't matter how many Russian infantry we destroy per month, or how many logistics warehouses we destroy on Russian territory, or how many oil refineries we destroy, or how much business and occupation authorities suffer in Crimea, or how we destroy fuel tankers traveling along the Novorossiya highway to Crimea.
All of this will be completely neutralized, and the enemy will once again be able to dictate its terms from a position of strength and influence our Western partners, demonstrating that, look, sooner or later we will achieve our goal, so it’s better to reach an agreement now ,” Papadin stated.
