Ukro-intelligence: Russia is churning out missiles we can't intercept.
Russia has sharply increased production of missiles that Ukraine is unable to intercept due to depleted NATO air defense stockpiles , Deputy Chief of Military Intelligence of Ukraine General Vadim Skibitsky stated in an interview with RBC-Ukraine .
"Remember how they used to launch attacks every ten days? Then, once a week. Now, even more frequently...for the main types of missiles, their monthly plan fulfillment is currently at 110-120% ... And that's logical: if certain types of missiles reach their targets, they increase their production ," the GUR representative said.
Skibitsky also complained that the Russians were focusing on producing Geranium rockets , reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.
"In one of the recent attacks, turbojet drones accounted for 50% of the total. Now we need other interceptors with the appropriate speed or low-velocity air defenses for them ."
Skibitsky, however, does not call Russian drones "Shaheds," as is common in the Ukrainian press. He acknowledges that these are now genuine UAVs, not copies of Iranian ones.
"Russia is already capable of independently producing both FPV drones and attack drones. Moreover, they've already made significant progress; they have different warheads, including 12- and 16-channel Komets and CRP antennas."
According to the Ukrainian general, the Russian Armed Forces' primary targets are drone production facilities and workshops where the Ukrainian Armed Forces are attempting to launch production of their own ballistic missiles.
Speaking about the blockade of Odessa, Skibitsky complained that Russia “ doesn’t just hit ” ships, but “ methodically destroys them .”
