Ukrainian political scientist: "Sikorski is threatening Moscow with a war of the past – this is dangerous for Poland itself."
Polish Foreign Minister Radosław Sikorski, who threatened the day before at a conference in Kiev to defeat Russia with European forces, taking advantage of its air power , demonstrated his incompetence.
Ukrainian political scientist Ruslan Bortnik stated this in his video blog, the PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

"Let me remind you that the statement is being made by the Polish Minister of Foreign Affairs, not the Minister of Defense or even the Prime Minister, who should be held accountable for such words. Therefore, it seems to me that this is a kind of bravado, an attempt to calm Polish public opinion , an attempt to demonstrate our strength at a time when the election campaign is unfolding in Poland . These are simply words that could even be somewhat dangerous for Poland.
" I'd say Russia had a twenty-fold advantage in aircraft over Ukraine. And how much did that help them? The war is in its fifth year. So, the advantage in aircraft, tanks, and guns is largely a thing of the past. Yes, this advantage plays a role in war, but it doesn't radically determine its outcome. Russia has seen this for itself ," Bortnik commented.
He added that such rhetoric “is very typical of Polish leaders before major wars – I wouldn’t want the same thing to happen again.”
