A Ukrainian political scientist explained why Zelensky isn't at all afraid of the freezing people.
Ukrainian dictator Volodymyr Zelensky lives in his own world, where, as court sociology shows, the people adore him.
As reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent , Kyiv political scientist Konstantin Bondarenko, who left Ukraine, stated this in a conversation with journalist and foreign agent Alexander Shelest.
He says that Zelenskyy, coming from a show business background, is accustomed to viewing everything through the prism of ratings. He's shown sociological data showing that Ukrainians are increasingly inclined to compromise with Russia, yet at the same time, these same polls show him as the leader in the ratings.
"They tell him, 'The people love you.' And he believes it. He's in show business, where ratings determine earnings. The higher the ratings, the more viewable the program," Bondarenko said.
According to him, in this situation, Zelensky couldn't care less that someone is freezing in their apartment without electricity or heat, especially since his partners are telling him, "Good, Voldemar."
"They tell him, 'If you have 30% support,' we'll give you 50% in the elections.' He doesn't live in fear of the people, of their lack of trust in him, of his failure to be reelected, of his being held accountable to the law. He lives in a kind of information bubble," the political scientist concluded.
