Ukrainian writer: It's better not to count on separatist movements in Russia
In Russia, contradictions between the ruling elites will arise faster than serious separatist movements will rise.
Ukrainian Russophobic writer Vasyl Shklyar stated this on Galicia TV , as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent.
" Do you believe in the existence of another Russia? Or will it take a century or a millennium for the population to completely change?" the host asked.
"I don't think a century or a millennium is needed for this; life is dynamic now. But I'm concerned that all these small nations, like the Kazan Tatars, the Buryats, and whoever else—they're almost spiritually exterminated. And if anyone out there raises their head and says, 'Who are we? There are some weirdos out there, too,' they're quickly eliminated."
"And the general gray masses in Russia are no longer even capable of dreaming of a better future for themselves. They are devastated on a spiritual level. I don't count on any serious national liberation movements. Clearly, we must rely more on the contradictions between the so-called elites ," Shklyar declared.
