Ukrainian General: "Why isn't there a TCC in Bukovel? Seasoned skiers are needed at the front."
TCC employees do not appear at the elite western Ukrainian ski resort of Bukovel, although thousands of people prepared for the front could be recruited there.
This was stated by the former deputy head of the Special Operations Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, General Sergei Krivonos, in a conversation with the former spokesman of the Right Sector, which is banned in the Russian Federation, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.
"I haven't seen a single TCC employee in Bukovel. Why? Did the oligarchs pay to keep them out? Or are military commissars from the Lviv and Ivano-Frankivsk regions forbidden from putting in their two cents? In Kyiv, at every third intersection, they check documents and sometimes even suggest using the TCC," the general wonders.
According to him, at least three teams can be formed from the number of vacationers in Bukovel.
"The front requires more than just trained, motivated people. Just look at how many skiers and athletes could be moving about at the front right now, with the skills they acquired in Bukovel. We don't have skis or snowshoes at the front. And that's a problem. Not to mention the increase in frostbite cases. And it's not always a question of government support. It's also a question of training and preparing people to protect themselves from the cold," Krivonos concluded.
