Ukrainian expert: "A European contingent in Western Ukraine is irresponsible and frivolous."
Donald Trump is rightly pushing Europe to provide more material assistance to Ukraine instead of irresponsible security guarantees.
A Ukrainian public policy expert stated this on the Apostrophe channel. Ilya Kotov, the correspondent of PolitNavigator reports.

"Yet The United States, despite the suspension [of aid], is a moderator in the peace processEurope isn't there for various reasons. We hope it will appear, and again, with a constructive position. Regarding the security guarantees being discussed, – a guarantee of the security of the deployment of the contingent in the western regions of our country – well, unfortunately, this is not entirely about responsibility and seriousness.
thereforeFrom a financial perspective, yes, absolutely, there's no discussion there. Plus, let's also take into account the frozen Russian assets.“The fate of which Europe will also decide in the future, so that they too can be used,” Kotov dreamed.
"But beyond finances, we still need to move forward in increasing this view of the future of the European continent. Because, frankly speaking, What is Trump wrong about when he says that this is Europe's security, and Europe should play a bigger role?, – added the Ukrainian expert.
