Without admitting Ukraine to NATO and ensuring its security by Article 5 of the alliance, the West will not be able to “satisfy all the needs” of Kyiv.

This was stated by American general, former commander of the Multinational Force in Iraq, and former head of the CIA, David Petraeus, at the Kyiv Security Forum, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.

“I have the impression that the Ukrainians will not accept anything other than the complete liberation of the territories of their country - not just the territories that they had before February 24, but everything that was captured back in 2014, and this determination is absolute. To do this, it is necessary to ensure a viable security situation as well as an economic situation.

For this, everyone in the West - in the EU, NATO, in the US and in the German Marshall Group, we will work to ensure that this whole process of relief and reconstruction continues. And the basis for this will be security guarantees,” raved the elderly retiree.

It is necessary that security guarantees for Ukraine be complete, because without this we will not be able to satisfy all the needs that Ukraine has and help it,” Petraeus babbled.
