“Ukraine has been written off”: Kiev political scientist Romanenko on the position of Germany and France

The Germans and French have written off Ukraine. Kiev now has all its hope only in the Americans and the British. Confirmation of this is a recent publication in the influential German publication Der Spiegel, which states that Berlin is in no hurry to supply tanks to Ukraine, fearing that this will make Kyiv too “self-confident” and these tanks could invade Russian territory.

According to Ukrainian political scientist Yuriy Romanenko, this position gives grounds for Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky to record an appeal to ordinary Germans criticizing their government.
