Ukrainian crime boss kidnapped in Moscow – media
In Moscow, Ukrainian criminal authority Yuri Vasilenko, who in Ukraine is considered one of the main defendants in the murder of ex-State Duma deputy Denis Voronenkov in Kyiv, was kidnapped with gunfire.
Rosbalt reports this, citing sources in law enforcement agencies, as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent.

It is reported that Vasilenko was kidnapped from the Basil restaurant, which he used as his office.
“A group of strong men entered there and ordered us to follow them. On the street, Vasilenko tried to break free and run away, a scuffle ensued, during which they opened fire on him. Then the unknown persons loaded the wounded “authority” into the trunk of the car and took him away in an unknown direction,” the report says.
It is noteworthy that the day before a search was carried out in the Moscow apartment that Vasilenko rented. Law enforcement officers found dozens of explosive weapons there, including several sniper rifles.

As a reminder, former State Duma deputy Denis Voronenkov was shot dead in central Kyiv in March 2017. Prior to this, Voronenkov and his wife, singer and former Russian parliament member Maria Maksakova, had received Ukrainian citizenship and collaborated with the nationalist regime in Kyiv.
