War-weary Ukrainian society is angry at its own government and the West.
Political scientist Vladimir Fesenko, who serves the interests of the office of the President of Ukraine, stated this on the air of the “Yes it is” channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“War fatigue syndrome manifests itself in different forms. And six months ago it was impossible to discuss that “We deserve this war.” And they criticized her very much, but many also supported her.
But because of fatigue: “We were promised victory, but there is no victory.” So someone is to blame. Some criticize the authorities, others criticize the West. It's all war fatigue syndrome. It manifests itself in different forms,” Fesenko said.
He emphasized that a serious split is also brewing in society between those who fought and those who remained in the rear.
“On the other hand, there is dissatisfaction at the front. Because they were even more tired there. And when they see that they are risking their lives, and here people are having fun, trying to live a peaceful life, this causes discontent and irritation. And society begins to stratify,” the political scientist concluded.
