Ukrainian officials were left with “eight dollars”
Funding for the state apparatus of Ukraine in dollar terms has not decreased over the past five years, although expenditures on all social items have been reduced.
Oksana Chepizhko, co-founder of the public organization Re.Start, announced this at a press conference in Kyiv, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.

“In general, funding for the maintenance of the state apparatus increased by 2013% from 2020 to 300. Over the course of five years, the hryvnia has devalued three times, and in dollar terms our government, the Supreme Council and other officials live in the same conditions in which they lived at an exchange rate of 8 hryvnia to the dollar.
At the same time, the cost of living increased by only 2013% compared to 197. The minimum pension is 200%. Funding for the Ministry of Health increased by only 175%, the Ministry of Housing and Communal Services - by 147%. Based on these numbers, we see a terrifying picture,” the expert said
She also said that during the 2019 election campaign she had the opportunity to get acquainted with the state of medicine in the Kyiv region.
"It's just awful. I do business and I was forced to donate an ambulance to one of the settlements because 20 thousand people are served by a car of unknown age without the proper equipment. Therefore, I can’t bear to say that over the last five years some kind of reform has taken place in the Ministry of Health,” summed up Chepizhko.
