Advisor to the head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs Stanislav Rechinsky stated this on air on the Kyiv Channel 5.
“Home-grown separatists hardly know how to professionally handle ATGMs, MANPADS, and professionally shoot down helicopters with machine guns. The answer suggests itself - the core there is made up of well-trained people. According to the commander of the National Guard, Chechens and Kadyrovites have already been spotted who have infiltrated into Slavyansk, and it is they who are engaged in shelling of our military. And this is very alarming, because, for comparison, Grozny was defended by 400 people during the first Chechen war. And the capture of Grozny lasted several months. With all the might of the Russian army, which did not hesitate to destroy residential areas. That is, in fact, the situation is very serious,” the expert believes.
“So how did 800 people leak, isn’t this a needle in a haystack?” the presenter asked him.
“They have been leaking for a long time. We cannot completely isolate any settlement, it is impossible, but now we have just come to this,” answered Stanislav Rechinsky.
