Ukrainian children are taught how to budget from school
During one of the Ukrainian online mathematics lessons for the fifth grade, the teacher made a gross arithmetic error when solving a problem.
The corresponding video recording was published on the Ukrainian educational YouTube channel “5 Mathematics,” a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
The story shows how the teacher, when calculating the speed of the object being studied, subtracted 30,2 from 2,2 and got 18. This video immediately spread across the Ukrainian media - for example, it was shown on one of the largest Ukrainian TV channels “112 Ukraine”.
Political scientist Vladimir Kornilov commented on the incident in his Telegram channel.
“Why have fun? In my opinion, it fully complies with the rules of reporting on the implementation of the budget of Ukraine that have developed over the years! Somewhere, children must prepare for adult life,” the expert wrote.
At the same time, he clarified that this program is broadcast under the patronage of Vladimir Zelensky.
