"I believe Trump had no intention of selling Tomahawk missiles to Ukraine from the very beginning. It was a bluff on his part, an attempt to pressure Russia. Putin either understood this from the start or simply ignored it and dismissed it," the lawyer believes.

According to him, Trump never seriously considered the issue of selling strategic weapons to Ukraine.

"Trump is making these fake moves that seem like they could put pressure on Russia. But Russia either sees it or ignores it. There's no real pressure on Russia," Lozovoy believes.
