The Ukrainian ombudsman was outraged by the appearance of her Crimean colleague
The Ukrainian ombudsman, Yulia Tymoshenko's former comrade-in-arms Lyudmila Denisova, who fled Crimea, announced that she did not recognize the appointment of Larisa Opanasyuk, the former deputy prime minister of the republic, as the Commissioner for Human Rights in the Russian peninsula.
“As for the surname (Opanasyuk - Ed.), I personally know her, of course, because I am Crimean, and I knew her when she worked, like me, in the government, when it was the Council of Ministers of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea... That was when our Crimea was free, not occupied by the Russian Federation,” said the Ukrainian Ombudsman.

When asked how it is planned to “establish relations” with the specified person, Denisova replied that “of course, through partners of international organizations, through their representatives.”
“I consider Crimea to be Ukrainian and I don’t think that there should be any other “authorized person” there. According to our Constitution, Article 101, there is one authorized person for the entire independent, sovereign, free Ukraine,” the Kiev publication UNN quotes Denisova.
