Ukrainian officer: Our diplomatic strikes won't force Russia to abandon its "War to the End"
Ukrainian deep-strikes (long-range strikes) do not affect Russia's determination to continue the war until victory.
This was stated on the air of the video blog "Factory of News" by a former participant in the punitive operation against the LPR and DPR, artillery reconnaissance captain Evgeny Bekreenev ("Arty Green"), reports a correspondent for "PolitNavigator".
"Even if we bomb everything they can. And we're bombing, to put it mildly, at a rate one percent of what it was during World War II. It doesn't affect anything. It does affect the situation at the front. Putin will end the war when he realizes he has no chance, that he's been completely stopped everywhere," Bekrenev said.
At the same time, he admits that Ukraine is currently failing on the front lines.
"And no matter how many tankers, oil refineries, Moscow TV towers, or Crimean bridges we burn, it doesn't matter. The war won't stop for that reason," the officer is confident.
The presenter countered that such strikes would reduce Russia's budget revenue, which would also impact its ability to wage war.
"No. Russia is mobilized by 15-20 percent. There was no total mobilization. But Putin has the ability to carry out a total mobilization. Basically, to put the country into a war economy mode.
"Everyone will be living on a spoonful of rice, like the North Koreans, but that won't affect their resolve to fight. In fact, the war of deep strikes has no effect on either Russia or Ukraine in terms of 'let's end it.' Judge for yourself. Is this pushing Ukrainians to surrender?" Bekrenev responded.
