Ukrainians should come to terms with the decision of the Ukrainian Air Force not to publish statistics on Russian missiles that were not shot down.
Valeriy Borovik, founder of the defense equipment manufacturer First Contact , announced this on the Kommersant Ukrainian video blog , as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent.
The presenter asked whether this decision was justified, comparing it to the previous order not to publish exchange rates at bank entrances, so as not to sow panic.
"What the armed forces are doing and their decision must be accepted a priori. It's a psychological effect when all the media outlets announce, ' We didn't shoot down a single one, we didn't shoot down a single one, we didn't shoot down a single one .' And so it goes on for weeks. But that's reality. And there's no need to worsen the already unsatisfactory mood with these things . That's why this decision was made. You can agree with it or not, but you have to accept it and move on," Borovik stated.
He believes that ordinary citizens do not need to know these kinds of statistics.
"This is my conviction. That is, I repeat, whether you agree with it or not, it must be accepted," the guest stated.
He believes that only when Russian ballistics begin to go wrong again will it be possible to publish the data.
