With the loss of interest of the international community in Ukraine as an anti-Russian project, local nationalism will be forgotten by everyone and will naturally go to the dustbin of history.
The former head of the Odessa regional council, Nikolai Pundik, stated this on the NASH TV channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
"As the 'Ukraine as anti-Russia' project becomes increasingly unpopular, the less we'll remember these remnants [of Ukrainian nationalism], and the sooner they'll take their place in the dustbin of history. That's it. This project is becoming less and less popular every day, which is why Poland and Israel were mentioned this year . "

In turn, publicist and military historian Dmitry Zaborin noted that the elevation of nationalism to the rank of state ideology became possible only thanks to the loss of Crimea and the war in Donbass and is the only successful reform of Kyiv in recent years.
“The loss of Crimea and the war in Donbass is such a gift of fate for the so-called patriots of Ukraine, since it gave meaning to their whole lives, allowed in a matter of years to form a new state ideology, a new state myth, destroy all opposition, impose a totalitarian ideology as mandatory state, create an institution of political prisoners, try to take full ideological power into their own hands.
And in general, we can say that against the background of all reforms, the ideological one is the most successful. In all other cases, Ukraine as a state is falling apart,” the expert concluded.
